Arctic-
the frozen area around the North Pole.
Camouflage-
behavior designed to deceive or hide. Their color blends with the snow.
Carnivore-
an animal that eats meat.
 Cub-
a young bear.
Den-
an animal's shelter.
 Female-
a person or animal that can give birth or lay eggs.
Hibernate-
to sleep through winter.
 Hunt-
to chase and kill animals for food.
 Ice Floe-
a sheet of floating ice.
 Omnivore-
an animal that eats plants & animals.
 Pregnant-
carrying a baby inside the body.
 Prey-
animal hunted or caught for food.
Pup-
a young animal; young walruses are called pups.
 Seal-
a sea mammal that has thick fur and flippers and lives in water.
 Walrus-
a sea animal that has tusks and flippers and lives in water.
 Webbed-
connected by pieces of skin; polar bears have webbed toes.
