In Your Dream

In your dreams you can do anything, right? Well, I was "Surfing" the Internet when I came across something very peculiar. It was an art contest. I decided to give it a shot. I thought of what I could draw. That night I had a dream. The dream was about a space ship and a star. That gave me a very good idea of what to draw!

First I had to make a background. Since I was good at making tie-die, I used the same method. Then I had to figure out what the spaceship would look like, so I got a notepad and sketched a few pictures of what the key components of the space shuttle were. I took most of the main parts out of the shuttle, but made it much sleeker and made it futuristic.

I decided to draw a spaceship, and a star to represent that in your dreams you can do anything. In real life that would be impossible to do, I mean nobody could go as fast as a star. The reason I drew the picture the way it is, is because that is the way I saw it in the dream.

That's how I came up with this piece of art. I really enjoyed drawing that picture and what I like even more is that I could express my thoughts in two different ways. The good thing is I think I did my best. I hope you liked my picture and my essay.
