1. WATER- enough for one gallon per person per day, store in unbreakable and sealed containers.

2. FOOD- nonperishable and canned. Also a non electric can opener.

3. CLOTHING- rain gear, sturdy shoes, and an extra set

4. FIRST AID- a kit and prescription medications

5. GLASSES- an extra pair

6. EXTRAS- a battery powered radio, flashlight, and plenty of extra batteries

7. MONEY- credit cards and cash

8. SLEEPING- use blankets and/or sleeping bags
