2. FOOD- nonperishable and canned. Also don't forget a non-electric can opener.
3. CLOTHING- rain gear, sturdy shoes, and an extra set of clothes
4. FIRST AID- a kit and prescription medications
5. GLASSES/CONTACT LENSES- an extra pair
6. EXTRAS- a battery powered radio, flashlight, and plenty of extra batteries
7. MONEY- credit cards and cash
7. FAMILY INFORMATION- a list of the physicians, the style and serial number of medical devices(example: pace maker) and other important information about your family.
8. SLEEPING- blankets and/or sleeping bags
9. FAMILY MEMBERS- any extra or special items for infants, elderly or the disabled
