Volcanic Islands are formed by oceanic volcanoes.Magma (a molten rock ,that comes from

one layer of earth called mantle),erupt through the earth's crust.As you can see below

the eruptions deposit large amounts of lava on the ocean's floor.Then the lava build's up

above sea level and forms an island .The islands of hawaii and those of japan were formed

by oceanic
