INTRODUCTION
Are you looking for a good book to read? Do you need to write a book report? Do you want to know more about some of your favorite authors? Well, start here. If we don’t have what you need, check-out our links.
We have included biographical information about each of the “Awesome Acclaimed Award Winning Authors” because we thought it was important and interesting to know what inspired and motivated an author to write books that children enjoy reading. If you are an aspiring writer, perhaps you will see some similarities in the lives of some of these authors, and be encouraged to pursue your goal.
You will find an annotated book list of suggested titles appropriate for children ages 8-12 years of age. Each team member chose two authors whose work they enjoyed and wanted to share with others. If your are an avid reader, and have read some or all of these selections, you may want to give us your personal response or review of an author’s work. Please, respond when you sign the Guest Book. We welcome your comments.

We realize that this is a small sampling of a wide variety of authors and their work. We hope to continue to expand our project next year, as we move into middle school and are introduced to many other “Awesome, Acclaimed, Award-Winning Authors”.
