Chrissa had been without her father for three years.  She hadn't even heard from him.  Why had he forgotten her?  This was just one of the questions Chrissa had been feeling.  She had wondered why he left her and her mother.  Chrissa had been angry for three years.  So, angry that she hadn't spoke to her mother.  She had never been the child that her father had wanted.  Then her mother said that they could not go on like this anymore.  So Chrissa was going to have to move to the country in New York city.  She couldn't believe it - move to the country instead of the city.  Did the country hold the secret of where her father had gone?  Maybe she could find him.  This is a great book for children who have problems with their parents.  This book is a mystery and good for 3rd-6th graders.
