The fissure, which is a large groove, separates the brain into two parts; the left cerebral hemisphere and the right cerebral hemisphere. They are connected by the corpus collosum, which is a bundle of nerves. The hemispheres are divided into 4 regions, the frontal lobe, the temporal lobe, the parietal lobe and the occipital lobe.
