  Smallest Cellular Phone
     The PHS (Personal Handyphone System), made by the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp., is a wristwatch style phone that dispenses with a conventional keypad. Numbers are selected by voice recognition circuitry. The unit weighs 2 and 2/5 ounces and measures 2 X 1 and 1/2, X 5 and 3/5 in. 

 
Smallest Video Recorder
     The Sony EVO 220 Micro 8 mm is the smallest video recorder ever made. It weighs 1 lb. 8 oz. and measures 2.3  x 8.5 x 5.7 in. It can record up to 5 hours of video on .3 in. tape.

 
Smallest Video Transmitter
     The VID1 from AE Inc. allows the wireless transmission of a picture to a base station 2,000 ft. away. Measuring .6 x .9 x .3 in., It transmits either PAL- or NTSC-encoded video at 900 MHz, reducing the need for powerful output and allowing use for up to 11 hours.

     Scientists at IBM's Research Laboratory in Zurich, Switzerland, have designed a calculating device with a diameter of less than .00000039 inches.

     The smallest fax machine is the Phillips' smart phone add-on. It connects to the Phillips' PCS 1900 Digital Phone, to send faxes and Email, access the Internet, and provide other communications services. At 6.7 inches in length and 5.6 ounces in weight, it is the smallest and lightest mobile fax machine.

     Piranha's PRO26 Document Shredder measures 6.5 x 2.3 x 1.5 inches, and deals with any kind of document by nibbling off slices and shredding them into slivers.

 
Smallest Robot
     The light sensitive Monsieur microbot, developed by the Seiko Epson corporation in Japan in 1992, measures less than 3/50 inch and weighs 1/20 ounce. Made from 97 separate watch parts, it can move at a speed of 2/5 inch per second for about five minutes when charged.

 
Smallest Computer
  The smallest handheld computer is the Psion Series 5, which weighs twelve ounces including batteries. It has a touch-type keyboard and a touch sensitive screen.
