Biscuit Tortoni

1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 egg white
1/2 cup macaroons, crumbled and sieved
1T. minced cherries
1T. minced almonds
2 tsp. sherry

Whip cream. Gradually fold in sugar , stiffly beaten egg white, maccaroons,cherries,almonds, and sherry.
  Pack into individual
paper cups.  Top with extra macaroon crumbs and colored sugar
crystals, if desired.  Freeze until firm.  Makes 6-8 servings.
