* an eyedropper

* food coloring

* spoon

* tall jar

* water

What to do:

Step 1: Fill the jar almost to the brim with cold water.

Stir the water,keeping the spoon near the top

Make the water spin as fast as possible.

Step 2: Now watch for the vortex to appear.

Add a few drops of food coloring to the

water to highlight the shape of the vortex
