STICKY BUNS SERVES: 8 NOTE: Prepare the night before. INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Grease tube pan. Spread nuts and raisins on bottom, then cover with frozen dough balls. Melt margerine and brown sugar, stirring constantly. Pour mixture over frozen dough, sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top. Lay a tea towel over the pan, let sit overnight. Bake in the morning at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. DANISH APPLE CAKE SERVES: 8 INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Combine applesauce, bread crumbs, egg yolks, butter, cinnamon and sugar. Bake in a 2 qt. casserole dish at 325 degrees for 45 minutes then remove from oven. Beat meringue ingredients into stiff peaks. Spread over apple bake and return to oven for 15 minutes or until golden. CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES YIELDS: 4 Dozen INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Thaw margerine to room temperature for 3 hours. In a bowl combine margerine, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs and mix thoroughly. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix to make dough, add chocolate chips. Drop tsp. of dough on cookie sheet 12 cookies per sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-12 minutes. HERSHEY COOKIES YIELDS: 3 Dozen INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Set aside sugar and chocolate kisses. Combine remaining ingredients. Form mixture into small balls, then roll balls in sugar. Bake on a greased pan for 8 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven, place chocolate kiss firmly in the middle of each cookie. Return to oven for 3 more minutes. CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE YIELDS: 1 Pie for 8 people INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Mix instant pudding per package instructions for pie. Pour into pie shell, covers with cool whip. Top with shavings from chocolate bar. Chill for 4 hours, serve cool. BROWNIES YIELDS: 1 dozen INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Melt shortening and chocolate together. Beat eggs and sugar, then add to chocolate mixture. Blend in flower, baking powder, salt, vanilla and nuts. Pour into an 8x8 inch pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350 dergrees.
