There are many different ways you can volunteer to help with reading and writing. Many elementary schools have programs in which middle school students, high school students, college students or adults can volunteer to read. You could also volunteer to help at local retirement homes or assisted care homes. Here are some places we found where you could learn more about reading and writing volunteer opportunites.
