Jasper

    Once upon a time there lived a silent ghost. His name was Jasper. There is a little tale that goes with Jasper besides the one that I will be telling you, more about that later. Let’s start the ghastly story of why Jasper the Jester became just Jasper. If you don’t like ghastly stories I advise you not to read any further. On with the story! One sunny morning Jasper woke up from the blinding, yellow, light. He yawned and rubbed his eyes. He sat up and listened to the tweeting of the birds. Let me describe him for you. He has golden hair and plain blue eyes. His personality is very cheerful funny and mischievous. That is why that Jasper is the Jester of the court. Jasper went down for breakfast in his working suit that included yellow pompoms. The cook was in a grumpy mood and burnt the bacons and toasts. When Jasper meekly asked for some jam, the cook started yelling at him to stop complaining. She screamed at him to make his own breakfast if he complained again. Jasper the Jester went slowly off to the court dreading each step that he had made. When he got there the king, queen, prince, and princess were already sitting down. He desperately tried to hide his glum looks when he performed his tricks. Sorry to say, he didn’t succeed! The king was furious at him, so he ordered the guards to take him away to the dungeon. The next day Jasper was scheduled to be executed at 10:00 in the morning. Jasper screamed and protested, but got no sympathy from the executor. Jasper got his poor head chopped off! CLUNK! The head rolled down and looked at the executor with dull eyes. Suddenly the warm weather turned cold and there was heavy fog surrounding the crowd. The fog was so bad that the people couldn’t see their own hands. Jasper turned into a ghost! Some people didn’t know what was happening, but others did. The crowd tries to move, but strangely couldn’t. After a few minutes later, the fog disappeared along with Jasper the Ghost. Jasper the Ghost tried to entertain kids and adults, but got a scream for his payment. That is why Jasper is a silent ghost! To be continued………………
