PLOT:
Willie is a kid who goes to school, but he doesn’t pay attention and gets bad grades. A new girl comes to his class, named Marla. Willie wants to be her friend, but she thinks he’s too goofy. Willie’s dad is staying home from work because his boss was being unfair – but while he’s home, he expects Willie to be perfect. Willie has a dog named BooBoo, and Willie’s dad doesn’t like him because BooBoo gets in trouble a lot. Mostly the story is about how Willie tries to make his dad not be mad at him and BooBoo, and also about being friends with Marla. She calls him a frog prince because even though everyone thinks he’s a goof-up, she knows he isn’t.

Yes, it was a really good book, because it was funny, and Willie always made people feel good. – even though he wasn’t really smart in school.
