PLOT: Jackie was a really good athlete when he was young. He was the best athlete in all of his schools. He loved basketball and football, but his favorite sport was BASEBALL. Everybody wanted Jackie on their team. He even got a scholarship for his athletic skills. Then when Jackie was older a man named Branch Rickey asked if he wanted to be on the Brooklyn, Dodgers! Jackie was the first black man to ever play major league baseball. Some people liked him and some people threatened him but he was a American HERO.

I enjoyed this book because it tells every detail of Jackie's life.
