This is about how a boy and a girl, Jess and Leslie, make the magic of Teribithia. As King and Queen, they were best friends. Before Leslie moved next door, Jess didn't have any friends. At Christmas time, Jess gave Leslie a puppy which they name Prince Terrian, P.T. for short. Then there is a really heavy rain that lasted a long time. Jess is afraid to cross the stream because the water is so high. Instead he goes to the museums in Washington with his music teacher. Leslie tried to cross anyway and the rope snapped. The current was so strong that it carried her to the bottom of the stream where she drowned. Her father finds her there.

I enjoyed this book very much. It always makes me laugh, cry, think, and learn. I've read this book a lot and each time it gets better.
