What was the story about?

The story Tangerine is about a boy named Paul who looks up to his brother and wants to be just like him. One-day Paul's family had to move from their nice home to Tangerine, Florida, where he meets up with lots of friends. He wonders why his family had to move to a place where underground fires burn for years, and lightning strikes the same practice field every day, of course he knows why. While at school one day, a giant sinkhole occurred and Paul had to move to a different school. Paul tries out for the soccer team there and is picked up, but many strange things happen to him after that. He helps his teammate Tino grow their families tangerines, and discovers how he had got blind. All of his life, people told him he looked into a solar eclipse, but he finally finds out how he got blind, and it wasn't by a solar eclipse.

Did you enjoy the book?

Yes, I did enjoy the book because there was always something interesting going on in each chapter. Tangerine was so exciting, I sure hope Edward Bloor makes a sequel to it, or at least another book.
