Summary:
The whole thing started when Tristan figured out that he was adopted. He hacked into the bank's accounts trying to figure out who his parents were when he found an account named Quietus. He did not know this but it contained the Doomsday virus. He saw it and brought it up. Then he accidentally let the virus go, but luckily he contained so it would destroy only the bank. There are two ways this is bad, 1, this destroyed everybody's accounts at the bank and that means all their money and 2, The cops knew his name and thought of him as a suspect. There actually is a 3, Devon now knew of him and wanted to destroy him because he has a DNA sample just like his own and could access the virus. Tristan only knew of # 1 & 2, not 3. This was bad because 3 was the most dangerous. At the end of the book Devon lets out the virus because somebody was tracing him. Before that Devon's security guards had captured Tristan and were going to kill him but, the virus affected their car so they died while Tristan stayed alive by falling out of the car. At the end of the book they tell about the disaster. If you want to know more you should read
