THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RINGS

Author: J.R.R. Tolkien

Main Characters:

Frodo, Sam, Gandalf, Aragon

Summary:

Frodo, Sam and some other hobbits set out to Rivendell. The place of Elorond the wise. Their mission was because of the Ring. It is magical and has great power held inside from Sauron. Sauron is an evil eye who commands bad things like Wolves and Orcs. Sauron needs the ring to have full power. If he gets the ring he will be all powerful. All of this was stuck in Frodo's care by his Uncle, Bilbo. Bilbo had journeyed some time before and found the ring. He did not know of the power of the ring. Anyway the hobbits set out and were pursued by The Black Riders. These were the dead servants of Sauron brought back to power under Sauron. The hobbits finally got to Rivendell but Frodo had had a very deadly knife stuck in him. If it weren't for Elorond he would have died. While they were at Rivendell the council decided that they had to go straight to Mordor (That's Sauron place) and throw the ring back in the fire it came from. They set out and had many dangers, but none as worse as Moria. Moria was a place where a dwarf and Orc war had been long ago. They traveled into it and were at an old King Dwarf palace when Orcs attacked them.  With the Orcs came a Borlorg, a magical creature. It went down with Gandalf into the water. The rest of the crew went down and voyaged till they were at the passway. They had to choose, go with Frodo or go with Borimor ( a guy who was in their team). Everyone would do what Frodo chose. Frodo then put on the ring and disappeared. He got to a boat and left his friends behind. His faithful friend Sam caught him and with went him to the Perilous lands of Mordor.
