Ragweed
List of Characters and a Description of Each: Ragweed (a mouse who left his family, home & country and went to the big city), Clutch, Dipstick, Lugnut and Blinker (all mice who are band members as well as Ragweed's friends), Silversides and Graybars (two cats who try to keep mice on the bottom, people in the middle and cats on the top).
Plot: In the story, Ragweed leaves his home, family and friends and sets off to live in the big city, New York. There he finds buses, music, danger and lots of excitement! He makes new friends named Clutch, Dipstick, Lugnut and Blinker. They form a rock and roll band together and have loads of fun. Everything's great for them until Silversides and Graybars, the president and vice president of the F.E.A.R. organization (Felines Enraged About Rodents) start wrecking their fun! The sewers no longer are safe with Graybars and Silversides crawling around and looking for mice to hunt. Ragweed has to be able to trust himself. He and his friends learn that courage and loyalty are the keys to survival in new York.
Did you enjoy this book? Yes, I enjoyed this book a lot.
I enjoyed it because I liked reading about how Ragweed and his friends have to survive in New York with raging cats prowling around the city streets and sewers.
