The Suwannee Storm

On February 18, 1998,  a storm in Suwannee County caused floods, a tornado, and sinkholes. Four to six inches of rain fell in Suwannee and the storm caused a lot of sinkholes to open on the north side of a state road. There was a lot of flooding. This led to the closing of a county road, about 2 miles southof Welborn. Do you think there may be a connection with sinkholes and rain? Look at the rest of the web page to find out.
