| Neptune is the fourth largest planet by mass but it has a smaller diameter then Uranus, it is also the 8th planet away from the sun. Their is no person credited for Neptune's discovery, Galle and D' Arrest first observed Neptune on September 23, 1846. Neptune is blue because of the result of absorbtion of red light by methane in the atmosphere. Neptune can be seen with a regular pair on binoculars, only if you know where you are looking. | |||||||||
