A.) On December 1, 1955, Rosa was riding the bus home from a long day at work
when a white man got on the bus and told her row to move. The other people
in her row moved to the back of the bus, but Rosa didn't move.
The police were called and Rosa was arrested. She went to court and was let
with a fourteen dollar fine. Rosa didn't pay her fine and a bus boycott was
started. Most of the people that rode the bus were African American, the company
lost a lot of money. After the bus boycott ended the busses were desecrated.
