Rameses III was a great warrior, as well as a pharaoh. He was a great leader, and a great thinker. The Libyans attacked in his fourth year as a pharaoh, but the Ancient Egyptians were ready under Rameses' III command. They the defeated the Libyans when they came. Three years after that attack, people called sea people attacked, but Rameses III had already ordered a defense line in that territory. When the sea people attacked, the Egyptians were victorious. There was a second attack, and it was brutal, but the Egyptians completely eliminated the sea people. The rest of Rameses' reign was peaceful. Rameses III was the last great pharaoh.
