Predators

The moose have few enemies, which include the wolf, grizzly bear, and the black bear. They are also hunted by humans for their antlers. The ability to run as fast as 35 mph and swim as fast as 6 mph helps them get away from their attackers. Few predators can be successful when challenging a healthy adult moose. Wolves and bears usually prey on the calves as well as the aged and the weak.
