Hi, my name is Justin and I am a middle school student in Arkansas.  I like to play sports, but mostly basketball and football.  I like to read fantasy books and books about sports greats.  Some of my favorite book series are The Lord of the Rings and the Redwall books.  I would highly recommend both book series.  I like to watch basketball and football on T.V.   My favorite part of being on the Thinkquest team is designing the web site.  What I did not like to do was writing the essay.  I don't like to write essays very much.  Being on the Thinkquest team has been a great experience.  I am going to try to be in it next year also.  I learned many things from researching the Paricutin Volcano.   I learned how to survive a volcanic eruption, about the volcano's history, and why it's a wonder.
 

Hey, I'm Keely.  I am one of the creators of the web site you are in right now.  I am a middle school student.  I live in Arkansas.  I am a big vampire fan and I love comedies.  My favorite subject in school is world history.  I like Michelle Branch’s music.  I also like to run and play volleyball.  I am also a big fan of books.  My favorite kinds of books are science fiction series.  I think when people write science fiction books it is really amazing since they are like a whole other dimension.  My favorite book so far is TheHobbit.  I am finishing the Lord of the Rings trilogy.  My other favorites are the Chronicles of Narnia and Cirque Du Freak (vampires).  I really like books.  When I was on the Think quest team I had a lot of fun. Our team did a web site on the "Seven Wonders of the Natural World", if you haven't noticed yet.  I chose to study the Victoria Falls.  I had to research a lot, which was okay but when it came to typing, that wasn't as great.  The most fun part of building our site was when our team went to an outfitting store and dressed up like we had to survive on the natural wonder that we chose.  I was in kayak and kayak gear.  It was pretty cool.  A special THANK YOU to Rick and Josh at the Pack Rat!  I had a lot of fun while on the Think quest team.  On the team, I learned a bunch about my wonder Victoria Falls, like its height, width, and location.  I never had a clue Victoria Falls existed until I started this project.  I also learned more about computers, such as: images and links.  I also learned about the other six wonders: Northern Lights, Great Barrier Reef, Grand Canyon, Paricutin Volcano, Mount Everest, and the Harbor of Rio de Janeiro.
 

    Hi! My name is Alex. I am in middle school in Arkansas.  I enjoyed building this site and searching the web.  I did not like writing the essay about the Grand Canyon.  I learned how to use Netscape Communicator.  Mrs. Carnes calls me a web master now.  I don't like to read that often but I do have a couple of favorite series.  I enjoy reading the Harry Potter books and the Redwall series.  I love sports and hope to play basketball or football someday.  I will watch just about any sport.  I enjoy playing and working on the computer so I decided to try out for this Thinkquest team.  We put a lot of work into this page so I hope you like it.
 
 

My name is Kayla and I go to a middle school in Arkansas.  I love horses, outer space, the outdoors, and reading.  The Harry Potter and the Murder She Wrote books are my favorite series.  I also really like the books, The Hobbit, A Wrinkle In Time, and Jade Green.  The book Julie Of The Wolves really goes along with my section of the web site (which is the Northern Lights section).  I have two horses and their names are Hope and Doll.  I enjoy building model rockets and I hope to work for NASA someday.  Thinkquest has been a ton of fun!  My favorite part of being in Thinkquest was dressing up like I was in Alaska for my mission page.  (Rick was a great help, thank you!)  I did have to type and research a lot (which are not my favorite things to do).  I really liked building and designing the web site itself.  I thought that building this web site would be a lot harder than it was.  I learned so... much. I really enjoyed Thinkquest Junior and I hope to be in it again sometime.
 

My name is Nick and I am a middle school student in Arkansas.  My area of the web site is the Great Barrier Reef.  Some of the things I learned are that it was formed over 17 million years ago, it is located off the coast of Australia, and it doesn't have nurse sharks.  My favorite part of this project was dressing up in the SCUBA gear.  (Thank you to Jack and Karen Dick from SPORTSCO.)  Creating my own story and searching the web was also fun.  I don't like having to redo things because I forgot to save.  Hobbies of mine are running, fishing, sports, and reading.  My favorite series of books are the Redwall books written by Brian Jacques.  In these books rats and mice make up most of the main characters.  There are 14 books in the series.  I highly recommend them.
 

Hi, my name is Joel, and I live in Arkansas.  Some of my hobbies are collecting medieval items, reading, and playing video games.  I haven't collected a lot of medieval stuff yet;  I just have a picture of a coat of arms and a sword.  I read maybe once every day.  Some good books I have read are The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and the Dragonlance series.  I have played many good games such as  "Zelda", and "Star Wars"  computer games.  I enjoyed working on this project a lot!
 

Hello, my name is Forrest, I'm 11 and I go to a middle school in Arkansas.  I enjoy high adventure sports, like camping, hiking, swimming, and fishing.  I'm in a Boy Scout Troop.  I like track and field events, such as javelin, hammer throw and long distance running.  I enjoy reading the Redwall series. The Harry Potter series is good, too.  I'm going to read the Lord of the Rings series.  I learned a lot about Mt. Everest, almost everything I know.  I found out a lot about equipment.  I also learned how little life there is on the mountain.  The most interesting thing was the beliefs about Everest.  I never knew that some people believed the gods lived on Mt. Everest.  Mt. Everest was an interesting topic because I like mountains.  They are interesting because they usually have snow and caves and some small mountains provide shelter for animals.  I didn't like having to type a lot, because I never really learned how.
