Endangered Species

If we endanger whales, manatees, and coral reefs, we can someday lose these beautiful creatures and endanger many species that depend on them for food and a habitat. When you kill a coral reef, you are damaging millions of different animal’s homes. Another animal that is losing its home because of humans is the manatee. Even though the manatee population has gone up a little bit, manatees are still endangered. Almost every manatee has been hit or touched by a boat at least once. Boats also cause pollution, and that pollution is killing whales. Learn about how animals are being endangered, why it is important to save them, and more.

Coral Reefs

When you look at coral reefs, you may think of them as beautiful plants, but you are wrong. They are really an animal that is being hurt and becoming endangered. When coral reefs are endangered, many animals lose their homes and food supplies. To learn how to help the coral reefs, click on the button at the bottom of the page.

Manatees

Years have passed since 1990, but the manatee population has only gone up a  little. The manatee population is so low because people are still accidentally killing manatees in several ways. If we are not careful, we will destroy the manatees forever. At the bottom of the page, click on the "Manatees" button to learn how to make manatee population higher.

Whales

Many people may not realize that whales are another endangered species. If whales become extinct, then we wouldn’t have this beautiful and gentle ocean mammal. Click on the button on the bottom of the page to learn more about how to save the whales.
