I wrote two papers on the compromises before the Civil War and about how blacks fought for their rights. This paper is called "Fight For Equality."

In school I'm not a loud mouth and I'm not a quiet person. I thought that the Civil War was not that interesting compared to other wars. I found out it was interesting, and it made me very excited about the causes and effects of the Civil War. My favorite color is blue, food is popcorn, and movie is "The Lord of the Rings." The papers I wrote in this website were "The Dred Scott Decision" and "Abraham Lincoln." The reason I chose the Civil War as my website topic was because I wanted to know the true reason the Civil War began and ended. The two papers that I wrote and the ones everyone else in my group wrote helped me find out more about the Civil War. 

I love designing things and that makes me want to be a designer when I get older. Some of my interests are basketball, dance, soccer, playing with friends, going to Girl Scouts, and playing games. In my time left over from these things, I read, watch television, and play with my pets. I have three pets, a hamster, a cat, and a fish. The reason I chose the Civil War is because I was interested in knowing the causes of the Civil War and how blacks were treated unfairly, just because of the color of their skin. I wrote "The Kansas-Nebraska Act" and "The Secession of the Lower South."

The reason I chose to make a website on the Civil War was because I was interested in learning more about Harriet Tubman, Andrew Johnson, Abraham Lincoln, the Underground Railroad, and more. I wrote "The Raid at Harpers Ferry," "The Home Front," and "The Reconstruction."

I like social studies and want to be an archaeologist when I grow up. My favorite color is green, my favorite food is Chinese, and my favorite movies are The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, and Indiana Jones. I’m just an ordinary kid who does things like you.

I am always ready to learn something new. That is why I choose to tell you about the Civil War. I didn’t know anything about the Civil War, so I wanted to know more about it. After I started reading about it, I was starting to get very interested. This is what made me want to write about the Civil War. I wrote "The Life of a Slave" and "The Sectional Division."

My favorite color is silver. I love Mexican food. I have a lot of favorite movies. I enjoy reading and singing during my spare time. I also figure skate. It is my favorite sport.
