Beyond the outer limits of our solar system lies the infinite presence of space. Thanks to powerful space exploration equipment, astronomers know things about the happenings outside of our solar system that would have been hidden from human eyes. Though little is known about outer space, astronomers are finding more and more out about it by using all of the great technology that is provided for them including telescopes, rockets, satellites, and computers. Now we will give you a close up look at everything from the big bang to black holes, so take the opportunity to find out what really lies outside of our solar system, and what really goes on in outer space.
The Big BangThere are many theories on what created our universe, but are any of them true? Scientists finally have a theory that people can agree on; it’s the Big Bang! The Big Bang theory states that our universe packed up into a big ball of atoms which eventually exploded and created our universe. Many people think this theory is weird, but if it wasn’t for the Big Bang, where would we be right now?
Supernovas
Stars live lives that are just like humans’. They are born, they live their lives, and eventually, they die. But what happens to stars when they die? They don’t just die and float around in the weightlessness of space, they blow up in explosions known as supernovas.
Brown DwarfsStars are like experiments because some fail. Most don’t, but the ones that do are called Brown Dwarfs! And a failed experiment is just a failed experiment.
Black HolesHave you ever wondered about getting to other galaxies? Black holes might be the key. This is one of the many and amazing theories about black holes. |
