How The Squirrel Got It's Stripe
One day the squirrel came to his friends and started bragging about he was the best and how he was better than all of the others. His friends also decided that he was the best the next day.
It was time for the animals to go speak to the king who picked the squirrel. Of course he expected him to go to the top of the highest peak because he was so courageousof all animals...even the lion.They decided that the best should go.
When the squirrel got to the top, he started towards the lion's cave. The lion jumped out, and got the squirrel on the back. With a lot of wiggling the squirrel got away but the scratch remained from the tip of his head, to the end of his long bushy tail!
