The Iroquois Indians were in the League of Five Nations, the first Indian confederation.

They lived in longhouses and wigwams. Wigwams were young bent trees covered with straw. Longhouses are pretty self-explanatory, they are long houses.

Grass clothes was their main dress for everyday, but the children wore nothing at all.

During famines they would chew on their moccasins and boil them for soup.
