Wool Carder |
|
The feel of the wool is something I love. When people compliment me on my work, I feel important. Picking all of the burrs our hurts my hands. Standing up all day gets boring too.
When I am finished I give the carded wool to the spinner. She depends on me. I get the wool from the farmer so I depend on him. I also depend on the cabinetmaker for the wooden handles on the cards. I have a very important job.|

To the left is the sign that hangs outside of my shop. To the right is a picture of wool that has been carded and is ready to be spun into yarn.
