Basic Dream Dictionary
*Your Partner is Cheating on You*
In this case, it's always a good idea to watch out for signs of your partner actually being unfaithful in your waking life, but many times your partner symbolizes a part of yourself. Are you tricking yourself or being dishonest? Chances are that you feel guilty for betraying a part of you.
*Running for Your Life or Killing Someone*
"Death," according to the subconscious, is growth or development in your waking life. To flee from such a fate would mean that you are uncomfortable with change at this point in your life. Rarely do these dreams mean that you are literally being pursued, but in all cases you may want to check out potentially harmful situations. Are you involved with a druggie that threatened to kill you? This may answer the question of whether or not your dream is a realistic prophecy.
*Being Naked in Public*
There are several interpretation for dreams of self-nudity. One web site suggests that you have put yourself-physically or emotionally- on display unintentionally. Did you do something that embarrassed you in front of the class? This may be a key. In the dream, if the public is upset due to your indecent exposure, the class may have noticed when you humiliated yourself. If the public in the dream does not pay attention or care, the class probably felt the same way, and the problem lies only with you.
Some books suggest that nudity expresses vulnerability in your waking life. Did something happen that made you feel defeated and vulnerable? Perhaps things went too far with your boyfriend or girlfriend. Being naked may represent how embarrassed and upset you were in that situation.
*Suicide*
Believe it or not, suicide depictions in dreams are generally quite positive. They represent change (death), but they also tell you that the change will stick. Have you decided to give up smoking? Go for it. If you dream of suicide, you can bet that the change will stick.
*Flying*
To dream of flying expresses freedom and joy. Have you recently graduated from high school or college? When you dream of flying, you feel probably free and not held down by the traffics of society, family, friends, boyfriends and girlfriends, etc.
*Falling*
Insecurities and low self-esteem may be represented in dreams such as these. Perhaps something happened to make you feel more insecure than usual, but if the dream of falling repeats itself, it's probably time to start feeling better about yourself and your accomplishments and "let go" of feeling bad. Another solution to this dream is checking (when you awake) to see if you are on the floor. You may have quite literally "fallen" out of bed.
*Accidents*
The key thing to remember here is not to panic. Dreams are rarely good guides to the future, and it is extremely unlikely that this dream could be telling your literal future. Are you afraid of failure? Maybe your parents are pushing you too hard to succeed, or you got your first real job. Dreams of accidents often represent fears of being unsuccessful in something in your waking life. "Slow down" and reassess your waking-life situation.
