The Nile River
The Nile River is the major resource of ancient Egypt.
Thanks
to this marvelous river the Egyptians survived in
their
their barren desert home. The Nile River and it
tributaries
flow through nine countries.The
White Nile
flows through Egypt, Sudan, and Uganda. The Blue Nile
starts
in Ethiopia. Zaire, Kenya, Rwanda, and Burundi all
have tributaries. The Nile River provided the ancient
Egyptians with the water they needed for irrigation. The Nile helped
them make a great canal system.
