Cooking
Over a Campfire
When cooking on a camp fire it is
not only the food that you cook, but how you cook it that counts. (
also the materials you pack for instance a pot, pan, or even small
mess kits.) One thing never to do is to start a camp fire with
gasoline. For one it could cause an explosion. Another thing is that
the fumes will ruin the taste of the food. Some camp sights have
metal trey like tables to set large objects on to cook with of a
fire. If your fire is just right and not to high or low it cooks the
food better instead of burning. Mitts and hand covers should be kept
as far away from the fire as possible because they are
flammable.
