to Pack
When getting ready to
camp it is good to get food that will last for long periods of
time. Canned foods are good to start with because they will
last for weeks and weeks if still closed. Other good foods are
bagged foods like rice and beans. Equipment like ice chests are
good to keep drinks and other foods like cheese that need to be
kept cold. Before going, you might want to find out about the
water. Otherwise, you should bring your own drinking water.
Some fruits that don't need to be kept cold are also good to
bring for example, apples and oranges. When cooking for larger
amounts of people, it is easier to cook in large pots because
they can make more food in less periods of time. Other things
like veggies and bread are easy sides to cook.
