You think it's little, guess again. Do you know there are icebergs on land and in water? Icebergs are made by glaciers breaking, and chunks going to the sea. The chunks turn blue, green, and white. Icebergs can be very huge or very small. A big iceberg can be more than 1 million tons! In 1956 there was an iceberg as big as Belgium. Another big one in 1987 was bigger than Rhode Island. Another big iceberg was 183 miles long. It broke up in 2000. Icebergs can flip over, which causes giant waves. Most of an iceberg is under water, but only the tip sticks up. On the top it can stick straight up. But on the bottom it can be far to one side, which can be horrible for boaters. Because of an iceberg, the Titanic met its terrible fate.
