Fumihiko Maki

Fumihiko Maki was born in Tokyo on September 6, 1928. He received his University of Tokyo Bachelors degree in Architecture 1952. He achieved a Masters in Architecture at the Graduate School of Design (GSD), Harvard University. Maki and Associates was established Tokyo in 1965. In 1993, Fumihiko Maki was presented with the Pritzker Architecture Prize, the second Japanese architect to be honored.
