Shojo

Shojo is anime that in aimed at school aged girls. Most shojo shows and movies are about kids. The kids usually start out having a semi-regular life and as the story moves on, their lives get a little bit more complicated as they go. Other shojo stories have a setting where regular kids get transported to another world where they have magical powers or are put into positions of power. An example of a shojo show is Sailor Moon. Another example is a show called Card Captor Sakura.
