Perfect Blue is a show about a young woman singer/actress named Mima Kirigoe. Mima is a pop star, but she drops out of her group to become an actress. Many forces try to prevent her from changing her public persona and end up interfering her personal life. A murderer who is encouraged by e-mails from someone claiming to be the true Mima stalks her. She ends up going slowly insane. The show is told by three characters that are all losing their sanity. |
