The PH needs to be between 6.5 and 8.0 for most of the animals living in the pond or lake. If the PH is to high or to low it will hurt the animals or even kill them.
We took a trip to our park. It has a lake and a cave. We tested the PH of the water it was 8.0. We think that was great because it had to be between 6.5 and 8.0.We also tested the oxygen level in the water.This water has a high level of oxygen.
