Bats

Bats are nocturnal.

Bats are the only mammals that can fly.

Most bats feed on insects that they catch in their mouth or wings.

Bats hibernate and mirgrate to avoid cold weather.

Pictured below is a bat in our local cave. We think that it is a small brown bat because this type lives in caves and has a wingspan of about 8 inches.
