Dyslexia

       Dyslexia is a disturbance of the ability to read. The medical definition of dyslexia is: A problem resulting from neurological, maturational, and genetic causes. They give no information about the causes.

Diagnosis

       For people with dyslexia, the diagnosis usually starts with your parents or teacher who noticed problems in reading. A doctor is usually the first person to diagnose it, and finds out more information on it. A patient is usually given a complete physical exam and a doctor usually gets as much information as possible about your health history. Sometimes a neurological exam is necessary. The main reason for diagnostician dyslexia is to find out exact difficulties and to help the patient get proper educational intervention. Sometimes the diagnostician will use a battery of assessment instruments that adventure the related to the particular reading problems to the intellectual, achievement, motorist, perceptual, linguistic, and adaptive and capabilities of that one person.
