About Us
This website was created by the Byram Hills High School ThinkQuest class. The class is comprised of students from ninth through eleventh grade. Each memeber of the class was fully expecting to particiapte in the 2002 ThinkQuest International Challenge. When the competition was cancelled in February 2002, the class decided to regroup and enter the ThinkQuest USA Challenge. The class spent many hours discussing various topics that would interest everyone. With just a little over a month to the deadline the class decided to create a page on Computers.
Each member of the team found themselves in a leadership role at one point or another. Although award winning websites are nice, we believe that ThinkQuest is more than that, it's about the process. Here are some of the things that we learned along the way:
- How to function as a productive group.
- Problem solving.
- Learning new skills.
- The ability to be able to tackle difficult research and be successful.
- Running into unexpected difficulties and learning how to solve them.
- Exploring individual and group leadership roles.
