It all came down to the last inning of the last game of the World Series. The series was tied and the Diamondbacks had just tied the game and the bases were loaded and guess who was up to bat Luis Gonzalez. How to Play Baseball
First to get a baseball game started you have to have 9 players on each
team. 3 people to play in the outfield and 6 to play in the infield. To
be able to go in and bat you must get the team that is batting out 3 times
either by catching the ball that they hit before it hits the ground, throwing
them out, tagging them out, or striking them out. If someone hits the ball
over the fence in the outfield with out the ball bouncing it is called
a home run. But if the ball bounces and then goes over the fence it is
called a ground rule double. If you hit the ball over the lines on the
right or left side or tip it back than it is called a foul ball. If you
swing and miss the ball it is called a strike and if you don't swing and
the ball goes over the plate it is called a strike also. If the pitcher
throws 4 balls than you get to go to first base. A ball is when the pitcher
throws the ball and you don't swing and the ball goes over the plate. A
strike is when the ball goes over the plate and you don't swing at it.
But if the ball bounces before it goes over the plate than it is a ball.
A single is when you get a hit and stay on first base. A double is when
you get a hit and stay on second base. A triple is when you get a hit and
stay on third base. Now go out and play some baseball.
