Badminton is like tennis because players stand across a net from each  other and hit an something across a net with rackets.  How ever in badminton the net is raised off the ground, and they hit across a shuttlecock,  instead of a tennisball. And the shuttlecock is never to hit the ground.  Players  compete in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.
