AS YOU CAN SEE AT 15000 AD THE
PANTHER WAS UP IN THE NORTH. BUT AS MAN BIULT MORE AND MORE THE PANTHERS
RANGE WENT LOWER AND LOWER. SO IN ALL LIKELY HOOD ARE KIDS AND GRAND KIDS
WILL NOT SEE THE PANTHER. AS A COUNTRY WE MUST DO SOME THING SO THAT OUR
GRAND KIDS CAN SEE THIS GREAT THING. WE MUST MAKE IT SO THAT THE PANTHER HAS
MORE RANGE.
To survive and reproduce, panthers must be able to get enough food. Females need to establish
a range in an area with shelter for the kittens and abundant food. A female panther with two nursing
kittens requires 5500 calories each day march 1997, an amount unlikely to be met with only small
animals such as raccoons and armadiloes are available. You might review the panther's diet for suitable
prey.
Most people think the florida panther is like the mountain lion but i can say that is not the case.
The panther has not that long of fur and, it is light brown fur, and a white muzzle, chest and stomach.
The tail is long and has a slight cook in it,and a whorl of hair on its back are characteristics that make
it different from the mountain lion. A maie is usely 7 to 8 feet long and can be 100 to 160 pounds.
Mating season runs October through March. Females are ready to mate when
they are between two and three years old. Babies are born after about three months.
The mother prepares a den in a dry and protected place like a thicket. The kittens are
blind and have spotted coats and blue eyes. In about two to three weeks, their eyes open
and they begin to walk. The kittens stay in or near the den for about two months. They are
weaned and start eating meat when they are about two months old.
THE PANTHER IS A ANIMAL THAT LIKES TO BE BY ITS SELIF. THE MALES RANGE IS ABOUT 250 SQUAR MILES THAT IS BIG. THE FEMALE'S IS A LOT SMALLRE IT IS ABOUT 70 TO 200 SQUAR MILES SHE DOES NOT A LOT OF ROOM DOES SHE. YOU WOULD THAMK THAT SHE WOULD HAVE MORE WITH THE BABYS AND AND ALL THAT.OTHER MALE'S DO NOT LIKE THERE SPACE TO HAVE OTHER MALE'S IN IT. WHAT HAPEEN'S WHAN A MALE COMES ON ANTHER MALE'S LAND THAY FIGHT. HOW OTHER PANTHES KNOW WHOS IS WHOS LAND IS THAY MARK IT WITH WHAT IS CALLED A SCRAPES. WHAT A SCRAPES ARE IS PILES OF DIRT AND GRASS THAT IS PUT IN TO PLACE WITH THE BACK LEGS AND USUALLY MARKED WITH URINE. THE TIME THE PANTHER IS MOST most active IS AT MIGHT. IN A SINGLE DAY A PANTHER CAN COVER 20 MILES AND IN A SHORT BURSTS HE/SHE CAN REACH SPEEDS OF 35 MILES AN HOUR.
