Did U Know that it takes 40 thousand silk worms to produce just five-and-a-half kilograms of silk?

 In China many of the festivals today are connected with national celebrations. The celebrations that they celebrate are Labor Day, Women's Day, Children's Day, and Army Day. The two most important celebrations are Liberation Day and Chinese New Year.

    Some People in China LOVE to exercise and play sports. Students in China enjoy learning , playing basketball, and volleyball.

   

At the Summer Palace in China there is a marble boat. It was made as a symbol of imperial decadence. It was built with naval funds and was built by Lady Empress Dawager.

    Chinese people first did Chinese watercolor on pottery and silk, but it later became common on paper.

     Rural Education- A long time ago there were hardly any schools in China. The children had to work on farms so not many rural children went to school. Rural schools were small and poorly made. The same teacher taught more than one grade. In rural areas children didn't have many things to play with so they played with anything that they could find.
