Economy
The Piedmont Region is home to the Eastern Pipistrellus. It's genus name is Pipstrellus, which is an Italian word for bat. There is also the Eastern mole, it's genus name is Scalopus aquaticus. Which is a Greek for skalops, which means a blind rat. Also there is the Red Fox. It's genus name is Latin for fox. You can find the Red Fox is located through out Georgia except the Coastal Plain region.
